Our Enrichment Programs are weekly, iman-inspired, nature-based learning journeys designed to nurture the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. Each session invites children into hands-on exploration of the natural world while connecting what they see to Islamic teachings and the signs of God in creation. Through play, inquiry, storytelling, and observation, children develop a deep love of nature and confidence in their abilities.

Our programs are thoughtfully designed for ages 4–9, with gender specific age groupings that ensure safety, developmental alignment, and rich peer interaction. Each group experiences a consistent rhythm inspired by forest school pedagogy and prophetic character

The Khalifa-Core Model
At the heart of LSNC’s Enrichment Programs is our internally developed Khalifa-Core Model—a pattern-based developmental framework that forms confident, observant, and spiritually grounded learners. This model blends sacred worldview with rigorous scientific inquiry, helping children understand creation not as random chaos but as a meaningful, interconnected trust from Allah.
Our approach unfolds through twelve intentional and scaffolded aspects of scientific analysis, each introduced through hands-on exploration and site-based investigation:

Developing confidence, collaboration, and decision-making through group roles, challenges, and reflective practice.
O – Outdoor Skills
Building competency and safety in natural settings—navigation, observation, knotwork, foraging ethics, shelter basics, and more.
V – Volunteerism / Sadaqa
Practicing service as a form of gratitude and stewardship through micro-projects that heal, protect, or beautify the environment.
E — The Spirit of Excellence
Cultivating ihsan in both learning and conduct.
S – Science
In-depth study led by the 12 pathways of the Khalifa-Core Model.
T – Technology
Using simple tools, field equipment, and age-appropriate tech to enhance observation and inquiry.
E – Engineering
Design-based challenges using natural materials, problem-solving, and improvisation.
A – Art
Creative expression through watercolor, clay, poetry, storytelling, and nature-based crafts.
M – Mathematics
Patterns, measurements, mapping, ratios, cycles, and geometry found naturally in the outdoors.
Together, these elements create a holistic, spiritually aligned, and academically rich learning environment unlike any other—one that empowers children to understand creation deeply and to step into their role as thoughtful khalifah of the Earth.

❊ Ayatology is a term coined by one of our partners, The American Society of Islamic Philosophy and Theology (ASIPT) for their Verification and Renewal Curriculum, which refers to contemplating and experiencing the natural world as signs of God's knowledge, will, and power and is "the science of reading the manifest signs in creation through the lens of the intellect and heart."
