JUNIOR NATURE GUIDE CERTIFICATION

THE KHALIFA PROJECT

The Junior Nature Guide pathway nurtures youth who are ready to grow as leaders, stewards, and mentors. Through field skills, natural history study, and project-based service work, learners gain the competencies needed to guide others outdoors. The Khalifa Project deepens this journey by helping youth understand responsibility, care, and leadership through purposeful action. Graduates emerge with confidence, environmental literacy, and a sense of responsibility toward their community and local ecosystems.

SEED PROGRAM

SEED partners with schools, parks, and community sites to bring LSNC’s place-based model directly to local ecosystems. We collaborate to design field lessons, educator trainings, outdoor classroom plans, and scientifically-sound site-specific ecological programs. Whether starting with a single courtyard or an entire preserve, SEED helps communities transform their greenspaces into thriving learning environments. LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Our leadership offerings support educators, parents, and community guides in cultivating strong, reflective teaching practices rooted in nature-based learning.
