SEED (Site-Specific Environmental Education) is LSNC’s signature partnership model that helps schools, parks, community centers, and global organizations bring high-quality, place-based environmental education directly to their site.
Through SEED, we transform everyday green spaces—schoolyards, preserves, community gardens, and neighborhood parks—into vibrant outdoor classrooms rooted in ecological literacy, exploration, and stewardship.

WHAT SEED PROVIDES
Customized Place-Based Curriculum - We design curriculum tailored to your site’s ecosystem—plants, wildlife, landscape, climate, cultural history—and aligned with your educational goals. Each curriculum includes 12 student manuals and teacher guides (The Fortified Oasis™️) filled with hands-on lessons, field activities built upon our Khalifa-Core Model.
Nature Guide & Educator Training - We train your staff, volunteers, or educators in LSNC’s nature-based pedagogy, safety practices, and contemplative teaching methods, ensuring your program remains strong and sustainable.
Community-Based Environmental Solutions - Partners receive guidance in developing community projects, eco-initiatives, and student-led stewardship plans that respond to local environmental needs.

SEED programs cultivate ecological literacy through hands-on exposure to local ecosystems, nurturing gratitude and a lived sense of harmony with the natural world. SERVICE — Learning Through GivingService is woven throughout SEED partnerships. Students and educators engage in purposeful acts of care—restoration projects, community support, environmental solutions—that strengthen character and cultivate humility. SUHBA — Growing Together in CommunityWe recognize that meaningful learning happens in relationship.
